Since the 1970's, Kaulana Pali Kai's Owner Keith & his family have been enjoying the Napali Coast.
From camping on its beautiful shores, diving, fishing, hunting or just cruising along the coast. What better way to experience this beautiful place than with a native that has grown up with the history of the Napali coast.
Our goal is to provide personalized service to individuals or small groups and to have fun while doing it. (Our boat takes a maximum of 6 passengers, and we’ll go with as few as two for private charter, if booked in advance). We run our charter with a private and personalized guide and boat operator. If you are looking for relaxation and some adventure, then you’ve come to the right spot.
The Boat, named “Pila Kai”, refers to “The Beautiful Ocean Tool.”

The Boat has plenty of shade and room for everyone. We’re camera friendly, the crew is always looking for neat local critters to show you to create a memorable experience for you and your family/group. Our crew is knowledgeable about the boat as well as the Hawaiian history and marine life.
Loaded with compartments for rods, reels, and tackle, she has a huge cockpit and full walk around deck. It is powered by Mercury 150 Outboards, with stainless prop, power trim and tilt. It starts easy and cruises at about 30 knots. There is plenty of headroom from the hardtop roof.
The downstairs cabin is surprisingly roomy with a comfortable V berth for two. Accommodation for three in the large galley, with shaded cabin and cushioned seats, toilet, freshwater shower and easy access for snorkeling. The cabin is large for a boat this size with plenty of headroom. It can sleep 4 and has cushions with storage under each side. A fold-down table, storage shelf in bow and a filler cushion to complete the V berth are in the cabin.
Ample seating sits twelve, but we prefer to sit six people very comfortably. The ever so spacious boat can meet the needs and comfort for your wife and kids, in addition to the rails and cushion seating up front with the dolphins. Kids and adults love to ride on the open bow.
Established her tours in 1999, she carries all the USCG required safety materials, as well as vhf radio.
